The Apothecary is nearly entirely volunteer run.  Our Volunteers are the core of our community, and the shop could not exist with out their dedication and effort.  If you are interested in applying for an internship please stop by the Apothecary at 3135 SE Hawthorne Blvd to pick up an application, if possible on a weekday before 5PM. We are looking for honest, responsible, self starters who can volunteer 6-10 hours a week to work in the shop in exchange for an herbal education. Education will consist of written assignments as well as hands-on application.

If you don't have time to volunteer on a regular basis but still wish to become involved in our community, feel free to drop by the shop any time, if you have any skills that you feel like you could contribute we are always open to new ideas!
